about

An Icelander that has lived abroad for many years returns home to Iceland. He feels a yearning in his breast when he once more stands on the islands shore. Now is not the time to be mean and save money. Now is the time to celebrate with old friends.

lyrics

Króna hér og króna þar

aurinn stanslaust talinn

passa uppá krónurnar

enda vel upp alinn.

Aldrei neitt með nokkrum stæl

ekki leika greifa

nánasanna nísku væl

reikningunum veifa.

Nánasanna nískustand

stendur mér á sama

fæ ég fyrir hjartað hland

og allt verður til ama.

Er ég kom á Íslandsströnd

haldinn dönskum ekka

ekki linast listabönd

látum okkur drekka.

about

Krauka Aarhus, Denmark

This is some hard-edged, macho, Viking stuff. Using implements of destruction and pillage ranging from hide drums to shawms to jew’s harps to chainsaws and axes, this Nordic quintet hacks into the Scandinavian permafrost.
